The RSIC-Joist Isolator™ is an isolation pad designed to support a floating floor frame from the existing floor system. The RSIC-Joist Isolator can be used over steel, wood or concrete floor systems. The RSIC-Joist Isolator when used with the RSIC-1 isolation clips provides superior noise control in theater and recording studio designs the walls need to be completely decoupled from the structure. The RSIC-Joist Isolator decouples the new floor from the structure and the RSIC-1 clips decouple the gypsum board from the wall, completely eliminating the structure borne path of noise and ensuring the very best in noise control.
